This was the first lavout concept i did for the project. i had never done a pencil rendering for a concept before, so this was the trial piece. i ended up loving it so you'll see plenty more pencil rendered pieces coming this way!

1st poster teaser!

this is a teaser poster idea i was asked to design for the short film we're workin on here at work. the name of the short isn't finalized yet but was thrown on to get the general idea. there are a few drawing issues i want to fix but deadlines and all...but this will be converted into 3D so i'll post that up when it's finished.

this was done w/ graphite on 12 field animation paper.

Aspen photos

i went skiing in Aspen Colorado last week so here were some sketches done of the town in 20 degree weather!

spectrum sketching part 1

i did some sketching at irvine spectrum this weekend and heres the result. i used a prismacolor marker for the drawing and the coloring was done from memory. khoasian out!

my best friend gave me grief about doin a sketch of his grilfriend but not him so i decided to do a warm up sketch of him too. this sketch was done entirely on a wacom. enjoy thuy!

"Leena" warm up

this was a warm up done in the morning of my friend Leena. the drawing was done with a needle point pen and brought into photoshop. the tone is an homage to Marcos Mateu, who is a very inspirational artist to me. hope you all ike it!
